10 The WHO logo must be used in conjunction with the logos of formal partnerships hosted by WHO (see section XVIII.2). In such cases, the WHO logo must always be positioned in the most appropriate manner, as described in the Guidelines on use of the WHO logo.
20 The phrase "Partnership hosted by the World Health Organization" should be included below the logo(s) of any formal partnerships.
30 Any use of the logos of formal partnerships and the WHO logo on the cover and title page of a publication is subject to authorization by the assistant director-general or regional director concerned through the WHO clearance process (see section VIII.1.4, paragraphs 60 to 90).
40 A list of formal partnerships and their approved logos is available from DCO. Logos for new partnerships are negotiated as part of the memorandum of understanding between WHO and the partnership concerned.
