Internal reporting for management purposes
10 This involves documenting assessment findings based on a report guide defined for each cycle. The guidance documents will provide specific templates and details. The goal is to:
Provide inputs for subsequent steps in the process
Document findings, challenges, lessons learned, and risks to guide management feedback, future planning, and corrections
Supply evidence for external reports, future reviews, and performance assessments
External reporting to Member States, partners, donors and other parties
20 A report on the Mid-term review (MTR) and End-of-biennium Assessment (EOBA) findings is presented to the World Health Assembly (WHA) through the Programme Budget and Administration Committee (PBAC) and is included in the WHO Results Report. A summary paper is typically included in WHA documentation. The report encompasses findings from the entire Organization, including contributions from each major and country office.
30 The End of biennium report includes:
Achievements across the results framework, including global impacts and outcomes
Output delivery globally
Case studies illustrating WHO's impact at the country level
Budget implementation details, including financial resources, donors, and usage
Challenges, lessons learned
The mid-term review report may include a subset of the above as it is generally a more concise report focusing on progress against plans at the mid-term point of the biennium.
