10 When planning duty travel, travel by train or boat should also be considered as an alternative to flights, where such options exist, particularly when the costs are less expensive than flights.
20 For travel by rail, boat or bus, such travel will be based on the minimum first class fare on the most direct route.
30 For overnight sea or rail journeys, travellers are entitled to single berth sleeping accommodation.
40 For approved travel by bus, other than travel within the same city or travel covered within travel allowance, the actual bus fare to the authorised destination will be refunded upon presentation of the ticket stub.
