The Policy on Preventing and Addressing Sexual Misconduct (PASM), which came into effect on 8 March 2023, reinforces and operationalizes WHO's zero tolerance for sexual misconduct and inaction against it. The term "sexual misconduct" encompasses all forms of prohibited sexual behaviour by the WHO staff and collaborators. Sexual misconduct includes, but is not limited to, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and any form of sexual violence.
Allegations of sexual misconduct should be reported to IOS, directly via email at investigation@who.int, or through the Integrity Hotline. Allegations reported through the Integrity Hotline may be reported on an anonymous basis.
Access to victim services and support may be sought through prseah@who.int. PRS may also be contacted for any questions concerning the policy.
