10 The Policy on Preventing and Addressing Retaliation (PAR), replaced the former 2015 Policy entitled “WHO Whistleblowing and protection against retaliation”, and came into force on 1 July 2023.
20 The PAR is aimed at creating and sustaining WHO’s commitment to zero tolerance for any form of retaliation at WHO and has integrated a robust victim and survivor-centered approach.
30 All allegations of misconduct, including retaliation, shall be reported to Internal Oversight. Reports may be made in person, by e-mail to investigation@who.int, or through the WHO Integrity Hotline. Allegations made through the Integrity Hotline may be made on an anonymous basis.
40 Access to advice and support may be sought through ethics@who.int. Ethics may also be contacted for any questions concerning the Policy.
