10 Staff members' duties, obligations and standards of conduct are embodied in Article I of the Staff Regulations and in Staff Rule 110. Misconduct is defined in Staff Rule 110.8 and Article 10 of the Staff Regulations provides that the Director-General may impose disciplinary measures on staff members whose conduct is unsatisfactory.

member contrary to the recognized requirements of behaviour for staff members
and may, in serious cases, justify dismissal, or summary dismissal. Other
disciplinary measures such as written censure or reduction in grade may be
considered in cases of misconduct. In all cases, the imposition of a
disciplinary measure is subject to the notification and reply requirements set
out in Staff Rule 1130.
30 It is the responsibility
of each staff member to report to the Regional HR Manager (RHRM)/HR Officer
(HRO) without delay any failure to observe
standards of conduct as defined in Staff Rule 110 and the Code of Ethics.
