10  Publications that are published on WHO internet sites are subject to clearance at the planning, content development and production stages (see section VIII.1.4, paragraphs 10 to 90).

20  If any changes are made to a WHO publication after the web version has been published in the Institutional Repository for Information Sharing, a corrigendum may be required (see section VIII.3.5).

30  It is not usually appropriate to post drafts of WHO publications on WHO internet sites, as extracts may be quoted without permission in some cases (see section VIII.6.6). An exception may be made, however, in the event that comments are to be solicited from the public. In such cases, the draft version must be cleared for publication through the normal channels (see section VIII.1.4) and the material must be complete (i.e. there must be no gaps in the text or missing statistics) and clearly marked as a draft on every page so that the content is not misinterpreted as final, or (re)used out of context. In addition, a special disclaimer should be included on the cover and title page (see section VIII.6.5, paragraph 25). Such drafts must be removed once the final publication is available.
