10 All WHO publications should present a consistent corporate image (i.e. WHO house style should be used and they should be recognizable as coming from WHO), carry the WHO logo (subject to approval by the assistant director-general or regional director concerned) and comply with the set of principles contained in Information Note 12/2007. They should also carry a clear statement of their purpose and target audience, their origin and development (including review processes), and their status with respect to WHO’s activities.
20 Additional criteria apply to publications categorized as guidelines (see sections VIII.2.3 and VIII.6.2) and publications containing certain kinds of statistical data (see section VIII.2.8).
