10 New capital equipment (fixed assets costing USD 20,000 or more) shall be barcoded and recorded in WHO’s Fixed Assets Module for control purposes. They shall be recorded with a unique barcode number, location and custodian to facilitate tracking and responsible use. 20 Each office responsible for managing capital equipment shall ensure that appropriate records are maintained to ensure adequate insurance of assets in respect of risks associated with theft, fire, flood or natural disaster.
