20 The method of disposal following certification should be the most advantageous to WHO. In order to maximize revenue, public auctions should be the first option for disposing of WHO vehicles. If this is not possible or practical, then other sales options or trade-in should be considered.
30 Other disposal options, such as donations, may only be used in exceptional circumstances after approval from the respective Property Survey Committee (in Regions) or Director, OSH in HQ.
40 Revenue / funds from the disposal of vehicle assets must be ringfenced to replace, in priority, obsolete vehicles in line with the office fleet right-sizing plan.
