​​​10    A separation action is initiated in the HR Action plan by the HR Action plan owner, or their designee. It is the responsibility of the HR Action plan owner or ​their designee to ensure, prior to initiating the separation action, that all related documentation and necessary approvals have been obtained. Documents that may be required for the different types of separation from service are shown in III.20. Annex 10.A.

​20    Provisions applying to fixed-term and continuing staff apply equally to temporary staff unless otherwise specified.
